Casino Royale is the name of a location bond visits which is where the climax in my opinion happens
Quantum of solace a title that is double edged dealing with bond's emotions and an organization he is facing
Skyfall a location bond visits where the climax happens
Spectre a title that even without the leaks we know is doubled edged based on the official synopsis that it deals with ghosts of bonds past (the cryptic message) and of course an organization that bond faces
Could this mean
Bond 25 is The Garden of death... I mean obviously it could be anything heck Blofield's summer retreat could be named Risico or there could be a location known as the Valley of Shadows that the climax takes place etc
But I do suspect bond 25's title to be the name of the location of the climax of the film.
- Goldfinger: 3rd film of the 1st Bond actor
- The Man With The Golden Gun: 2nd film of the 3rd Bond actor
- GoldenEye: 1st film of the 5th Bond actor
Every odd numbered Bond actor, so far, got a "Gold" film, and each actor was less patient than the previous to get to such a film. ;-)
Something like this? :)
Starting from Goldeneye...
Goldeneye-> Monaco casino
Tomorrow Never Dies->Hotel Atlantic Kempinski
The World is Not Enough->Zukovsky's L'or Noir casino
Die Another Day->Rubyeon Royale hotel
Casino Royale->Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace->Grand Andean hotel + Eco hotel
Skyfall->Macau Floating Dragon casino
SPECTRE->Gran Hotel de Ciudad
I have two patterns I have noticed.
1) In the Craig era films there has always been a villain named after a colour. Mr White, Mr Greene, Mr Silva (Silver) and again Mr White for SPECTRE. I was half expecting SPECTRE to be renamed SPECTRUM and have them linked to all the previous Craig villains due to their colour names.
2) Ever since the Brosnan films we have had one film that involves a high octane car chase and one that does not.
1) GoldenEye: Was a planned car chase but was cut.
2) Tomorrow Never Dies: The car park showdown.
3) The World Is Not Enough: Very small appearance of BMW at caviar factory.
4) Die Another Day: Battle on the ice between Vanquish and Jag.
5) Casino Royale: Only the car flip
6) Quantum of Solace: Opening chase
7) Skyfall: Aston Martin DB5 shows up but no real car chase showdown.
8) SPECTRE: Won't say either way so i don't spoil anything
:-\"
Thank you! Great to be here among my fellow Bond brethren.
Minor event/etc every 15 minutes. So making the Bonds so action/story packed,
Compared to other films of the time. :)
You can add Blofeld to the mix: the first part of his name means blue.
All the Bond actors who've had more than one Bond to their name have had a more low key, somewhat eccentric or unique spy like 2nd film..... except PB, namely:
SC - FRWL (feel still not able to be duplicated to this day)
RM - TMWTGG (eccentric)
TD - LTK (really off the wall)
DC - QoS (similarly eccentric)
PB had the overblown, let's play it safe, TSWLM/YOLT style TND, which was a break in pattern. To some extent, this may have impacted how his Bond was perceived critically over time.
I think TND was a reaction to the massive LTK commercial failure (despite it being critically acclaimed in some circles, including by me, retrospectively). EON probably did not want to take that chance again, and so played it as safe as they could with the commercially appealing TND.
MR, Moore's 4th, was his.
DAD, Brosnan's 4th, was his.
Will SP be Craig's? :-)
1.) always uses the ol' "startled by animal" gag in each one of his Bond films..
FYEO - when Bond is scaling the mountain to get to St. Cyril's.
OP - when Bond is climbing around the outside of Kamal Kahn's palace.
AVTAK - Bond sneaking into Stacy's house, cat runs by (the only instance of the "startle" gag that didn't involve a pigeon.
TLD - at the end when Bond is sneaking into Whitaker's compound.
LTK - when repelling down the outside of Sanchez' casino.
... side note - it was also John Glen who brought us the infamous double-taking pigeon, as he was editor on Moonraker.
2.) uses the same scream for a man (usually) falling from high distance.
MR - (as editor) when Bond takes the parachute from the pilot.
OP - when Bond knocks Gobina off the plane.
AVTAK - when the russian agent gets chopped up in the water pipe.
TLD - when Necros gets the boot.
On point 2:
Yes, I'd noticed those myself. It must be a "stock scream" or something. :D
I've also noticed that the same "decelerating plane" sound is used more than once in the Bond films!
Yes, so that's where I've heard it. It doesn't get much louder than a Stuka Dive Bomber, does it? :)
Glen also has Bond outside/around an aerial vehicle in all his films -
FYEO, Bond outside a helicopter in the PTS
OP, Bond hanging on to a plane
AVTAK, Bond hanging on to a blimp
TLD, Bond and Necros fighting on the cargo net
LTK, Bond holding on to the back of Sanchez's plane.
Here's another pattern that might clue us into when it's DC's final film. Look at all the previous actor's final films, all of them feature an American actress and an American location (Laz does not apply, obviously):
Connery - DAF - Las Vegas + Jill St John (AND also applies to NSNA - Kim Basinger and some scenes filmed in Florida)
Moore - AVTAK - San Francisco + Tanya Roberts
Dalton - LTK - Key West + Carey Lowell
Brosnan - DAD - Hawaii (surfing scenes filmed there) + Halle Berry
So if we hear about Bond 25 taking Bond to Chicago with Jessica Chastain in the cast, start saying your goodbyes!
Here's one:
The first Bond film of any new actor is usually well received (either at the time or retrospectively, as with OHMSS). So we have nothing to be concerned about post-DC.
CR: Solange and Vesper
QoS : Agent Fields
SF Severine
His fleeting floozy at the start of SF survives. Nonetheless it's not a good track record for his conquests thus far.
Does this imply that Bond has slept with M? :D
Well given that they left New Cross under the cover of darkness, there's no way they made it to Glencoe direct. I reckon they had a cheeky stop off on the M6. Bond seems like a Westmorland services guy, they have a decent farmshop and butcher's counter. As service stations go, it's a cut above. They also have the opportunity to get a cosy night at the Westmorland hotel, which certainly beats a Premier Inn (Bourne) or a Travelodge (Johnny English).
Indeed, the "recycling of the scream" :-P
So he was able to give her a decent sausage....that's nice.
CR: Bond himself spotted by Camera. Bond spotted the Astin DB5 on camera. Bond himself spotted by Mr White behind a wall. Mr White Spotted by Bond.
QOS: Libary behind glass, somebody waiting on you behind glass door (Slade) Tanner looking to his laptop, whyle Dench M close is to him behind another wall of glass. Bond Spy on Quantum members. Bond in spotlicht at start of the maintitle.
Skyfall: Mirror of glass in the maintitles. There is more behind the wall in the maintitle. ''Done'' Scene. Secret door in Skyfall. M and Kinkade spotted by light. Q, Tanner spotted Astin Martin. Silva Spotted Bond and M by traffic light camera's. Silva stay in the spotlights twice by Helicopter light.
Janus / two or three sides
Goldeneye
TMND
Twine
Die Another Day
CR
QOS
Skyfall
Spectre
Bond 25
Skyfall:
Neighbours: England/Scotland Turkey/ Greece
Front runners - example / Central point/ Asian Country's: Turkey / China
Spectre:
The Believers: Italy (Rome) / Marocco / Mexico
I don't whant to repeay to much, but let i repeat the Neal Pervis and Robert wade love for boats and the boat from Twine be seen in almoost every Bond movie is written by them. (Example: In Die Another Day used by Falco/Jinx, in Skyfall the boat to island) Every Daniel Craig Bond movie include Grave machiene in the beginning of the movie, 2 of them be in the pretitle scene (QOS/Skyfall) and in 2 of them he using it (CR/Skyfall).
SPECTRE CLAPPERBOARD SPOILER AHEAD

<a href="http://007zone.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/JamesBond-westindies.jpg">Die Another Day (2002)</a>
<a href="http://fandimefilmu.cz/gal/Filmy/Bond_24/Spectre_182.jpg">Spectre (2015)</a>
Continuing the pattern, the next appearance would be in 2028, in the form of the purple-covered 5th Edition we see in DAD. This is of course, if we do actually see the book in Spectre- which I think we will, if only as background set dressing.
Another pattern I noticed is that the book appears in the same year as every fourth Bond film released:
1989 (LTK = film #16);
2002 (DAD = film #20);
2015 (SP = film #24)
Continuing this pattern, the next appearance would be in film #28 - in 2028...
