Pushing the envelope?
Again, I think if "The Dark Knight" can be a perfect film with 152 mins -and IMO honest opinion I found it slightly more riveting, better, than "Batman Begins"- than "SPECTRE" has it to become a masterpiece....that perhaps even is seen as slightly better as compared to "Casino Royale".
You both seem to be equating run time with quality, which is a completely irrational and nonsensical point of view. The main positive of a 155min run time is the simple fact we get more Bond for our buck! Whether it's good is down to many other factors, not length.
From what I've told yesterday, yes.
That's not true @RC7. Obviously, you think that, from your perspective as a movie pro, but it's not true. I merely say that if "TDK" can be a masterpiece at 152 mins, then "SPECTRE" can be a masterpiece too. I didn't say that if the runtime of a movie is shorter, the quality becomes worse. I know plentiful shorter films that are equally masterpieces. Many Pixar films for instance. But what about the classic Bond films of the 1960's. "FRWL" is unanimously hailed as one of the best Bond films ever, but it still has a running time shorter than 120 mins.
I know I make the mistake and misinterpreting your posts, but you do it sometimes too :-). No worries though.
Still, I do think a longer running time does have certain advantages, if the screenplay is dealt with properly. And let's face it....147-155 mins is simply more minutes of Bond fun ;-).
well, thát would be an announcement! we would be talking about such an announcement for days! eh... wait? what did Marketto exactly say? ...
:-/
I believe we are getting something today and the 8th.
Trigger Mortis also comes out that day here in the US :)
Good to hear someone else confirmed what Marketto had already said. Bring on 12pm EST!
Reading the replies it looks like they got the information from Marketto.
We’ll see in a little over an hour.
You can always trust Marcos.

The only 'sex' I will have now until November 6th is with agent 007 :-O.
I'm not ashamed to say that I'd rather watch a Bond movie than have sex.
Unless it's YOLT or DAD.
This is, sadly, wishful thinking. You have time to reassess and fix this opinion @Gustav. I'd recommend that.
Story Credits and Screenplay credits are quite interesting.
Also, DC is now a Co-producer....
As it turns out, very.
