    YES

thank you ! : ) is it updated or more traditional. without going into complete spoiler for me, if possible.

When I mean back, at the start. Is it back at the start. sorry.

    According to reviews...
It's the binder design back at the start. No clear word on music, but I'm betting Newman didn't re-record the theme.

It's my understanding Newman did re-record the GB music.

    Why wouldn't he?

I don't understand what the Binder design is. Are we going back to the type used in DN-GF with the dull barrel and 60s looking blood? Is Craig in a bowler hat?

The Binder design is the generic Bond gunbarrel that was present right up to Die Another Day, making a guest appearance on the Skyfall posters, as well, but never having a role in the Craig films.

    That's the original Binder design.

Updated Binder design by Daniel Kleinman.

I'm stoked that the gunbarrel is back at the beginning. To think that the last time the gunbarrel was at the start of the movie was 13 years ago with Die Another Day.... Finally!

I’m surprised nobody has posted anything in detail about the gunbarrel.
We know it’s at the start and that it has the binder design but beyond that?

    I want to know:

    • Is it a Kleinman-type Binder design?
    • What is the gunbarrel score like?
    • What is Craig’s walk like? Too fast like QoS/Skyfall or just right?
    • Is he in a tux or suit?

I want the Brosnan GBs to return. Those looked great.

What I'd like to know is did Craig film a 4th pose or are they going with the Skyfall one?

Only a few more days to find out.
  • I've seen the film.
The film does indeed open with the GB. The Bond theme blares out in the classic style. Craig is wearing a business suit and the design is essentially the same as Binder's (though not entirely the same). After Craig shoots the GB fades to black. At this point the words: 'The Dead are Alive' comes across the screen. Then you cut to the Day of the Dead festival and the most gorgeous opening shot to any Bond film

So no dripping blood? Or does the fade come after the blood?

Sounds like they still haven't got it right then, unless the fade comes after the blood.

A bloodless gunbarrel? No, I am certain they wouldn't do that. There's blood in the SPECTRE one. I'm sure of it.

My goodness, thats amazing!! I love the updated Binder design used on the Skyfall posters and have been itching to see it at the gun barrel.

Is Craig's arm held out like in SF?

That video is fanmade. I'm pretty certain the SPECTRE gunbarrel hasn't been released yet.

I know it's fanmade but the gunbarrel design in the video looks like how the Spectre one has been described.
  • I'm worried now. Does the bloody run down or just fade black. I hope its the entire gun barrel sequence.

The blood is there, right ?
  • It would be just like the thing for them to put it at the start and still f**k it up.

Hopefully it's the complete sequence. It isn't exactly hard to replicate. Then again, I've been saying that since Casino Royale.

yeah its just with the guy saying it fades black after bond shoots. You have to have the full show for it to excite me again

Seems like yet again they wanted to leave the gunbarrel sequence out or at the back by the way it is separated from the actual opening shot by that caption, somehow they managed to (at least...) prevent themselves form it.

I'm worried about the lack of blood too, I just don't undersand all this unnecessary tinkering...

What can be said about the pacing, it isn't rushed like the last ones, is it? And how about the music, is it like, say TLD?

Look at the end of the day the GB is back in the beginning and that's all that matters.

    Not if it's a farce, it doesn't.
