Interesting. They're only one spot apart in my rankings, but I think DN is better. I suppose I do enjoy MR more, though. Most of its wins here are from the production values, but DN tends to come out on top in the more important categories.
Villain and Bond girl were difficult picks, though. They're portrayed better in DN but I enjoyed them more in MR.

Title Credits: DN (I'll take the dot patterns and Jamaican dancers overlaying each other - MR was one of the weaker Binder efforts IMO)
Main Villain: MR (Drax beats No here only due to his longer screen time. Both are great villains with excellent dialogue)
Main Bond Girl: MR (Not sure why I rate Holly higher - perhaps because she's more competent than Honey)
Henchman: MR (only Cha/Chang & Jaws together can beat the excellent Professor Dent)
Overall Plot: MR (DN is nice and simple, but conquering Earth from space is... kind of a big deal)
Dialogue: MR (good dialogue in either film, but Drax has some of the best in the series)
Score: MR (very memorable, nice mixture of uplifting and dramatic music)
Settings: MR (No's spider room/control room are epic, but Drax has the centrifuge trainer/Aztec lair/exhaust chamber/space station)
Action: MR (PTS/Cha fight/cable car antics/space battle, it's all here)
Humour: MR (don't remember much humour in DN)
Cinematography: MR (love Rio's scope from sugarloaf mountain, & Venice - best parts of the film)
Benign Bizarre: MR (lab technician's death, and the fact Drax tries to poison the entire human race)
Suspense: MR (Corrine chased by dogs/shuttle targeting the globes)
Minor Characters: DN (Dent/Quarrel/Miss Taro/Leiter/Sylvia all very good)
Glamour: MR (was going to say DN for Le Cercle and No's glamorous living quarters/dining table, but forgot about Drax' estate. Add Venice to the glamour too)
Bond Performance: DN (not keen on some of his snappy demands, but other than that Sean nailed it with his first film)
DN: 4
MR: 13 Didn't expect that. I'd probably rate DN a tad higher if I were to rank them.

Title Track: MR (Bassey always wins for me)
Title Credits: MR (Space theme makes for one of Binder's last great efforts)
Main Villain: MR (Drax is easily top 3 for me)
Main Bond Girl: MR (Goodhead used to be one of my least favorite Bond girls, but I've gained a new perspective on her, while Honey I just don't care for too much)
Henchman: MR (Jaws is my favorite henchman)
Overall Plot: MR (Ludicrous? Yep. Over the top? Of course. Completely unrealistic? You bet. But sometimes I just love my Bond that way.)
Dialogue: MR (Drax has the best villain lines apart from maybe Kamal Khan. Oh and I think he's attempting re-entry sir)
Score: MR (A Barry belter. Flight into Space is epic, Bond Arrives in Rio is whimsical, and the slower Moonraker theme cues are simply beautiful)
Settings: MR (Rio looks incredible / Sugarloaf mountain has been awe-inspiring since I was a kid. And Space!)
Action: MR (Bond stunts had gone to the next level starting with LALD. This continues in MR with the pre-titles, zero-gravity stunts, and space laser battles)
Humour: MR (Same reasons as Dialogue)
Cinematography: MR (Money is clearly on the screen here, watching this one in 4k is such a treat)
Benign Bizarre: MR (Jaws/Dolly, which legitimately tears me up at the end of the film. While most hate it, I absolutely adore it)
Suspense: MR (Shooting of the globes, waiting til the very last possible moment with the globe entering the atmosphere)
Minor Characters: MR (Lee's last performance as M is great. I love how he shows his trust and confidence in Bond when he and Bond have the inside understanding of him going to Rio after the Minister of Defence calls for him to be removed from the case)
Glamour: MR (Again the money clearly helps here and the chateaux they used for Drax's estate might still be the most incredible mansion/property I've seen)
Bond Performance: MR (Rog is in top stride between TSWLM and MR).
DN 0
MR 17
MR is #1 in my rankings while DN has been bouncing around the edge of top 10. But DN itself has been doing poorer in my face to face by the elements scoring, mostly on account of not having the Bond Formula fully identified yet.

A final score of 12-5 for DN! A bit more lopsided than expected, but I suppose that will happen when you have two similar Bonds, even close in the rankings. Well, let's see if FYEO notches a few more victories on your scorecards, shall we?

Title Credits: DN (I like the funky 60s dots fading into Jamaican dancing and dissolving into three blind mice shadows. Not a fan of the sheena Easton music video feel of FYEO, although the colour scheme is pleasant)
Main Villain: DN (DN is a favourite and Kristatos is an intentionally underplayed villain with a modest plan. Rewatching this recently I grew to like Glover's performance especially in his first interaction with 007)
Main Bond Girl: FYEO (it's a shame Melina gets sidelined in the middle of this film - but she has such a strong opening two scenes - her parents death and her revenge on Gonzales. Throw in being part of the keel haul sequence and the final assault and she is tough to beat.)
Henchman: DN (gotta give this to Dent. I like loque, he's creepy and quiet but Dent and the three blind mice win it.)
Overall Plot: FYEO (I like DN's plot but FYEO has good intrigue and strong Fleming elements too. I like the opportunistic nature of the villain's plan and Melina's subplot is powerful.)
Dialogue: DN (I love DN's dialogue and it often wins this category, FYEO has few memorable lines - with the exception of Q's 'that's putting it mildly 007')
Score: DN (I will always take the opportunity to say how I have a special place in my heart for 'Submarine' in FYEO. But overall I prefer DN.)
Settings: FYEO (Flying bond, underwater Bond, skiing bond, climbing bond. So much to like in FYEO. I love the way Jamaica is presented in DN but I really like the variety of settings in FYEO.)
Action: FYEO (keel haul sequence, warehouse raid, the helicopter stunts, skiing chase especially down the bobsled track and the bike work on the slopes and of course the rock climbing.)
Humour: DN (the dry, dark humour of DN wins it)
Cinematography: FYEO
Benign Bizarre: DN (dragons, metal hands, disembodied voices in shadowy rooms, three blind mice)
Suspense: FYEO (DN has good suspense but FYEO has some excellent moments especially the loque on the cliff edge moment, keel haul and rock climbing.)
Minor Characters: DN (As much as I like Columbo - he's dragged down by bibi Dahl and no Bernard Lee. Especially up against Bernard Lee in his prime, Quarrel and Felix)
Glamour: DN (FYEO has some nice glamour but can't defeat Connery in the casino)
Bond Performance: DN (Moore has some terrific moments and understands the shift in tone very well - but this is Connery at his deadliest.)
DN: 11
FYEO: 6
Both are top ten but DN is top five for me. Love them both.
