But who am I...
is this the WTF moment they were referring to a few days ago?
Although whether its true or not I'm not sure. It may just be a baseless rumour.
In the Moore days, right? The LALT speedboat and the Q-Boat in MR, amongst others I presume.
Good eyes, @Theojw71. In this case and in Omega and AM's case as well, I really don't mind the product placement. Fleming did it profusely ;)
It's a case of being careful what we wish for. Selfishly, I'd love more Craig films. But the odds of a clanger go up exponentially as time wears on, and I'd rather he do no film than a geriatric travesty like AVTAK.
Absolutely, an (American) football coach one said something to the effect ‘ it’s better to let a great player go a little too soon than a little too late.
Even if they knock it out of the park, it’s time to move on.
That also lets Dan go out on a high note.
I would unironically love it if they redid the FYEO opening with Craig and Waltz. I’d bust a freaking gut!
I said it on another thread: it's better to leave the audience wanting more...
I will be gutted to see DC leave, but I rather he kill this last film and walk away golden. He deserves it. He's given us a great run.
I think CF and he are on a mission; if they succeed, I don't want one more film to sully an outstanding era (unless they're somehow shooting back-to-back Bond 25 & 26)... Enjoy Craig's last. Enjoy the tidbits and rumours, and pics we get (and no, no, no, those "painted" abs?? They're not painted! He prepped for the role like an animal. The one friend I know who is close to Gregg (and who let me know about Jamaica (as well as a few other things), said this man was living and breathing in the gym for every waking moment after KNIVES OUT. No booze (and DC likes his pints), no bad food-- just clean food and training)).
No matter if one likes his portrayal or not, no one can say he's not a professional to prepare and give us his all as his 007... (personally, he and Connery are far and above the others, and DC's last will be bitter sweet for me on so many levels)); he came back to not be embarrassed. He came back for B25 to kick ass.
If so not sure why it warrants a 'WTF'. Fleming's Bond visits Vesper's grave. If true it only feeds the very Fleming vibe I'm getting from Bond 25, which is surely only a good thing.
CF said there's characters that he hasn't announced. Does your friend know any of these surprises?
Agreed.
No way, 2:20 on the outside.
Less is Moore.
Roger that ! ;)
If it’s good,I hope so.
I hope not.
Many of the recent films have much lower rewatch value not least because they drag.
A sort of Bane @RC7?
Or a spin on The Force Awakens?
Malek's character is a Blofeld tribute act like Kylo Ren is to Darth Vader.
Like the loons who worship and emulate Anders Breivik, Malek's character is inspired by what he's read about Blofeld online. A sort of copycat world domination obsessive.
Unfortunately/fortunately not, @MaxCasino
Sod off already.
He should carry the weight of Vesper like a hidden scar not an open wound.
That aside, the set pictures we've seen have really filled me with a lot of hope. It seems the film is coming along nicely. Not sure what to make of that Malek pic, time will tell
Fake.
