So heres what I got so far.

    1) Madeline killed.

    2) Fast forward to Bond in hiding/retirement, enjoying life.

    3) Bond is being followed/spied on by MI6. Catches them, they warn Bond not to get involved with whoever killed Madeline.

    4) Felix tells Bond he can fund his revenge mission, he just needs this scientist guy rescued.. They have a mole and he can't trust anyone.

    5) Billy Magnussen's family is kidnapped by Malek. He is the mole.

    6) Bond uncovers the genetic warfare plot.

    7) Craig told Prince charles they are filming a scene where he gets yelled at by M. Same Spectre type scene. "Stop going rogue", Bond somehow ends up working for MI6 again. Think more of SF type plot. He is back and assigned a mission.

Film ends with Bond either being poisoned or in an explosion.

Team MI6 is seen at a graveyard funeral for Bond.

MP sees him off in the distance.

    Film ends.

    Something like that.

This is all logic and speculation, or do you know this for certain, from sources/contacts, @CASINOROYALE? Specially point 5(?)

I do know people who have worked on both Skyfall and Spectre... People who were involved with the production.

What I put together is just my experience of screen writing and in the industry.

I’m not claiming that it’s all fact at all. Just some fun speculation based on what I have heard.

I do have friends who worked on Skyfall and Spectre. ;)

I think it'll pan out like this:
    - After defeating the villain, Bond is missing, presumed dead
    - Scotland: a ceremony with M, Q and other mourners in his ancestoral homeland to mark his sacrifice. Fade out.
    - Fade in. Somewhere far away. A hint to show our man is still alive. Next film, cue new guy.
Just when I was starting to regain confidence in this film...

We’re getting a lot of car chases if all the rumors are to be believed - that would bring us up to one in the PTS in Matera, one in Cuba, and one on the Atlantic Ocean Road - at least 3!

EDIT: Unless the one in Cuba was supposed to be an on-foot chase?
Yeah, I don't recall ever hearing about a car chase in Cuba.
Yeah, I'm getting more of a CR opening foot chase feeling from that one.

That's not going to happen with Craig's ligaments still not totally back to normal.

It can be foot chase with Paloma or Nomi. Or CIA agents Felix and character played by Billy Magnussen.
Felix and Billy chasing someone for Five minutes, exhausting themselves, gaining on the guy but not getting him. Then the guy wants to round a Corner of a Building, where Bond is waiting for him and knocks him off his feet with one Punch. Cue JB theme, title sequence.
    That would make me chuckle.

Scotland will ruin this whole movie for you?

    Or what Shatterhand "speculates"?

    :-??
The latter. They can shoot half the film in Scotland, as far as I am concerned. But that suggested scenario is the kind of lameness I don't want to see.

55%-60% is my guess. A majority of the big action scenes have already been filmed. They have to film in Italy now and then Scotland. Then obviously more studio shots.

Yeah, I was thinking close to half at least. They have a ways to go but with all the post-production stuff they need to finish, principal photography should be completed asap if they want to make the April premiere. Obviously, Bond has a minimal amount of CGI shots to do compared to most big budget movies but post is a big deal on any film. They need time and the clock is ticking.

Only time that the director has being younger than the actor playing Bond.

John Glen was younger than Sir Roger, but not by much, so I take your point.

I'd expect another behind the scenes video sooner than a trailer. Maybe one for London. They couldn't really do one for Cuba as it seems they're not actually going there :)

A Bond girl video would be cool as we did get a behind the scenes video about them for both Skyfall and Spectre, but because this is a different team, I'm not sure if they'll do it.

We know of only one: the one that's being played out in Pinewood that mostly likely ends with Bond escaping by plane and the exploding boat.

    Exactly.

Yes, it is early to release a trailer. But the point of releasing a trailer this early isn't really to 'sell' the movie but to generate buzz and chatter.

People were talking about Mulan this weekend quite passionately. That buzz has now been generated. It's a project on people's radar. It doesn't really matter if the buzz gets droned out by other things because Mulan is still percolating on people's radar, ready for the onslaught of marketing at the end of the year............

Bond 25 has been very 'present' on people's radar for a while now - Jamaica launch, Craig's injury, set video, etc - so it makes sense to reveal a trailer in early August.

We will get a trailer early August for sure. it will last around 90 seconds and probably have approximately 50 seconds of footage. So don't get too excited.

It'll be along the same lines as 'The Rise of Skywalker' which was released around 9 months from that film's release:

I'm certain it'll be with Hobbs and Shaw.

Norway lake scene, car chase, Cuba apparently had an action sequence and then the Jamaica plane stuff.

It’s pretty common for the stunt actors to film the action sequences on location and then the actors will shoot the close up shots in the studio.

Remember how the press said Rami already filmed in Norway??

I’m pretty sure that was his stunt double. Rami was spotted in London a couple of weeks ago so he was probably shooting the closeup shots in the studio.

That house on the lake in Norway could easily be recreated in the studio. They could shoot inside and then have the stunt actors do the actual on location lake scenes.

Even though the media claimed he had already filmed in norway. Unless someone can prove he was there?

I’m thinking the teaser drops late August, early September. Trailer in November.

Rami said by himself that he was in Norway and filmed some scenes.

    Norway lake scene, car chase,
But you wrote "big action scene."

A car chase that turns into a motorcycle chase, that turns into a fight on top of a moving train is a big action scene. An exploding building that turns into a foot chase, that turns into a fight in a chopper fastly moving over a huge crowd is a big action scene.

A girl getting chased on an ice lake, and a some fast moving cars on a road - both shot during the course of just a few days, are not.

  • I must say how the locations in this film will be brought together is particularly intriquing to me. As has been observed filming in Matera is meant to be for two months. As has been rumoured the location is meant to be solely to the PTS... Forgive my ignorance to movie making, but is two months not a lengthy period on location to simply shoot what usually amounts to just 15 minutes of film? (On that note do we know how long they were in Mexico for Spectre? Just be way of comparison for a big sequence)

I'm pondering if what we "know" about the sequence of locales isn't necessarily a certainty, I believe someone has previously observed on here whether perhaps they'd been deliberately posting incorrect details on the clapperboards to help avert any potential spoilers ... I'm genuinely beginning to wonder if there is some truth in that. Either way I'm super intriqued about this film :)

Not at all, if there's an action setpiece. Action setpieces take a lot of time to plan, set up, practice and execute. They spent three months in Turkey for SF, and 95% shot there ended up in the pretitle sequence. Craig was only in Turkey for a couple of weeks, though, and for B25 the 1st unit will most likely not be in southern Italy for more than some weeks or a month

We don’t know what happens inside the building though. I have video from them filming the scene and he is shooting a machine gun at the girl. There will definitely be some guns involved. I’d compare it to the snowplane scene in Spectre. That’s an action sequence.

We also don’t know how much has been filmed in the studio..
