I think as an overall film for the action sequences, this is unparalleled by any other entry in the series. I'm pretty sure this contains my new favourite individual set piece as well, but that's a tougher call.
If it's not possible, DO NOT search for this channel on YouTube, just be very careful when browsing YouTube, or maybe stay away altogether.
Wow, that’s exciting. I was hoping that would be the case based on the trailers.
Are there any standout action moments for you, large or small, that weren't necessarily hinted at or revealed in the trailers and clips? Feel free to PM it if you'd like, easy to get mixed up on which thread is which and I'd like to avoid even spoiler tagging any revelations in this thread.

Just to calibrate I think Quantum of Solace is very underrated and Skyfall very overrated and dreary.
The entire PTS is pretty spectacular, although a lot of the big moments from it were in those first two trailers we got ages ago (I still haven't seen the two "new" trailers as I made a point of ignoring them until after seeing the film).
There is a sequence in a forest about two thirds in that has a brief moment in the second trailer but of course has much more going on in the film that is spectacular but also very different, almost like a horror film in some ways.
The set piece that I'm thinking of as being a new best for the series isn't in the trailers save for the very beginning of it, though you wouldn't tell from the way the shot is used in the trailer as it's cut into the trailer as a sort of independent moment, if that makes sense.
Overall, the gunplay in this film is marvelous. It's the closest thing this series has had to the kind of gunplay we see in the Wick films, without just copying the way those sequences are shot and edited, and still only going about two-thirds of the way into that territory. Let me put it another way, NTTD proves that Bond is a ruthlessly efficient killing machine without veering into him being a "one shot one kill every time" death-breathing master like Wick is.
Yeah I'm next week too (just a social calendar thing) and we're going early evening- but mostly because the film is so long and it's hard to get home from London late night! :D
Ah blimey, thank you; but I guess that sort of thing is going to be really hard to miss. YouTube knows I like James Bond and I'm likely to go on YouTube in the next week. What a bastard.
And yes, the stuff in the forest was very good.
I feel like to name specific films would be too spoiler-y, but honestly there were callouts, some loud and some incredibly nuanced, to a wide range of Bond films. I'd say watch a random handful and at least half of them are likely to see some sort of reference here.

I should also add, while my rating now goes as follows (so far), this should in no way reflect badly on the film as it is really good and deserves to sit right beside my two personal favourites of the Craig-era.

Btw, for future comments by people that saw the movie, can you also compare it on a list with the other Craigs? (or maybe general Bond movies), cause I like to see the taste of the person so I can see if a person that likes ___ would also like or dislike ___, just as a reference
I recall reading an interview where he said that he’d like to do another one.
If you go to the series ranking (no details) thread, my updated ranking with NTTD at #2 overall is there, but you can see from, I'd say my top 10 and bottom 5, what I do and don't want respectively from a Bond film. Anything in between are Bond films that feel are a mixed bag in that respect.
The Aston Martin V8. Plus
Actually I found the setpiece with the sinking ship to be an unexpected highlight. The Zimmer score there is fantastic ("Final Ascent")
The two standouts though are the donut-scene in Matera and the flying landrovers in Norway. Both around 10 seconds.

I'm guessing I'm the rare fan who ranks them in release order. I do the same with the Brosnan era.
The real question is....after the way SP was received....why didn't they try a clean slate approach with this one?
