    The dream steelbook:

    259799601_235430652015253_1265302463052733753_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-5&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=B97Mf9gRyE4AX8efGf1&_nc_ht=scontent.fcxh3-1.fna&oh=7839fc9a0a9266b04a189fad0247eb7e&oe=619EBB16

    Very nice.
  • I'd love to see title-sequence based steelbooks for the whole series, like they did in 2016? for "Spectre" themed FRWL, TB, YOLT, OHMSS, DAF, FYEO, CR, QOS, SF, and SP. It was absurd that they didn't do this for the whole series, not to mention excluding Dr. No from the release.

Agreed. Even the Spectre one doesn't really fit as it's just the bullethole-octopus logo, rather than anything from the PTS.

Blofeld's shadow with the tentacles would have made a cool steelbook. Maybe one day I'll try to make custom boxes for each film. ;)

Physical media is dying.Streaming is the future. It’s easier to buy a digital copy nowadays.Cheaper too.

Wrong. It's all internet hype. DVD still racks in billions. That is not counting BR and UHD.
CD is still the strongest selling music format, despite what you read about vinyl everywhere.
    It's all BS.
Streaming is destined to oblivion. It's just a flash in the pan.

Is that true about DVD/BR/UHD eh? That's crazy.

Although I doubt streaming is going anywhere. It's huge money, and now that Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+ etc are all making award-winning content, I think it's here to stay.

Physical media will always be my preferred format. All those streaming options mean nothing if the Internet is down.

Just because the numbers have been down doesn't mean it's dead. All the dead hype is internet wannabe hype. The real world is out there.

007 even would agree with me!

Physical media death is something C would push. And we all know what C stands for.

In the U.S., Target is selling the NTTD blu-ray with The Making of No Time To Die minibook.

Now that is the box art I was waiting for! Looks like I'll be ordering from the US. Don't really care about the mini book since I have its bigger brother, but it'll be worth it for that cover alone.

Edit: Just realized that it's Blu-ray only, not the UHD version. Darn!

And we have a winner. I'll have to travel for it as I don't have a Target in my town anymore. The last Blu I got from there before closing was Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Now we're stuck with 2 Walmarts and Meijer as options for department stores.

I am not crazy about the motorcycle being chosen as the cover art. I'd have preferred the picture of Bond and Madeline with the splintered glass of the Aston Martin. But as someone else said, better than the generic Craig in the tux poster art.

That would have been fitting, too, as that's the cover art for the larger Making Of book. Would have been a very cohesive choice.

So you can get that cool cover and book, but you have to go with the blu-ray version at Target. You can get Being James Bond, but only if you buy it on 4K. What a shame you can't get it all in one purchase.

Got the regular 4K pre-ordered from Target, hopefully it arrives by release day.

Yep. For me I'd rather have "Being James Bond", as I already have the large format book. But I'm not at 4k yet... :(

As mentioned above Target will have the special booklet with their exclusive release. Walmart has a Safin mask keychain with theirs. Does anyone know of any other store exclusives?

Yeah, same here. 4K will really have to come down in price for me to make that leap. Sucks we have to sacrifice one thing for another.

I'll take the book over the keychain, given the choice. Sometimes Walmart has leftovers so there may be a chance to pick that up in the future. I noticed that a few years back with one of the Marvel or Batman exclusives.

Target have a special version of NTTD for sale.

You buy it, and you end owning The Great Escape on disc.

Amazon Canada now has pictures of the rear cover art for the standard, I mean, "Collector's Edition" which is nothing special - a still of Bond in the Aston during Matera and the usual blurb about the film.

  • "Anti-Woke" Idiots Voting Down NTTD on Amazon (U.S.):

It's down to 3 stars, mainly due to some dubious reviews such as these -- posted by "anti-woke" activists who are merely engaging in their own brand of Conservative Political Correctness ("CPC")...

"Bond Dies, Felix Dies, Q Is Gay, and the new 007 is a women! Daniel Craig goes out on his worst movie ever. Hollywood has no idea what the people really want. Terrible movie!! Casino Royal was Craig’s best maybe Skyfall. But this movie is terrible and disappointing. Really a woman 007. Never again will I watch Bond if it’s a woman."

"The fact that Hollyweird has now invoked the Church of Woke in this iconic character tells you everything you need to know about this movie. It is the absolute worst Bond film in quite awhile if not ever (yes, even worse than 'In her Majesty's Secret Service'). What they did to this franchise is an abomination. Horrible, horrible writing."

"Double-Oh Woke... {Nomi] is written as arrogant and disrespectful. She knows who Bond is, but is totally nonplussed by his accomplishments."

"Not good, it's like Bond crossed with Xena, Warrior Princess. You’d think Hollywood would leave Bond alone but they want to corrupt as much as they can."

"It ruins all of the iconic aspects of the franchise with a pathetic Woke abomination."

All 1-star reviews, all from the United States.

Do we know if verified, probably really truly all from the U.S.? Do the more popular sites have a way of checking? Just wondering.

I had one person pop into my mind when I read that. Ugh. A former member here (banned, for darn good reasons years ago) who is frothing at the mouth about NTTD; so full of hate and bitterness. He always disliked Craig as Bond (though tried to disguise that at times). He lives in another country and I feel sure he would get off on hitting every website on the internet that would allow him to diss NTTD and rank it 1 star.

Just musing on that for a bit. People who live to spread hate and discord and get their jollies trying to destroy something are truly mentally sick. Put a few together and they just feed off each other.

I don't check ratings of the film. I get the gist from this forum, from people who do look at critics' and popular film websites. So I appreciate all of your efforts, so I don't really need to dive into that.

As for the DVD versions coming out for NTTD - I will get the standard one, as I do not have a Blu ray player (and will not while living overseas). Truly the thing I want most as an extra is director's commentary. So it seems we will not have that any time soon. I would hope for Cary's commentary to be in a more "special" issue coming out in the next year or two. I can hope anyway. Those director's commentaries are of value to me and I like Cary's work so very much.

These reviewers are really stupid, on the contrary, the film himself is having fun with the woke trend! They only see what they want to see, really.

And NTTD becomes the highest grossing Hollywood film since The Rise of Skywalker.

Q mentions having a male date in passing dialogue that probably takes up 1.5 seconds and these dorks lose their minds.

    Agreed.

Regarding Q... didn't Moneypenny mentioned in SF his fear for flying? Doesn't seem the case...

I always thought that was a white lie to explain why Moneypenny was there.

“M’s already briefed me on the list, which raises the tantalizing question of why you’re really here.” Etc.
