Maybe still because of the writer's strike in SAG?

Were the Bond films complete on Prime Video? They're back again in there.

That means that there was nothing to announce from Eon's end and that IFP have had to do the heavy lifting on this occasion with their announcements.
  • basically Bond day was a damp squib. No.B26 news or special Blu ray releases.etc.

Any thoughts what might pop up, if anything?

My guess is a trailer for Road to a Million s2.

I’m circling either Dr. No, The Living Daylights, or Casino Royale to celebrate tonight. I watched “Goldeneye” last Global James Bond Day so I thought I’d go for something different.

Do all three @007ClassicBondFan … that’s a triple threat of features right there

I just realized the International Spy Museum in DC has a return of Bond in Motion and then some.

I'm. All. In. If anyone local is going please let me know.

    My plans:

Today, I wished Kim Sherwood a happy birthday. Last year she responded! I teased her a bit by saying she missed having her birthday on James Bond Day by just one day.

Probably play GE and TWINE on the N64 and EON on Xbox. My three favorite 007 games. I still enjoy others as well, don't worry!

Probably read about Bond villains on Wikipedia. Some areas NEED updating.

Also, I'm putting this here as a thank you to (most) of you for putting up with my unique viewpoints on James Bond and other various creative topics.

    Happy James Bond Day, Everyone!

Happy "BOND, JAMES BOND" Day to all.

I'm going to watch "The Sounds of 007" over at Amazon (yet again) and then watch one of the older films - I still haven't decided which one.

For "reasons", TLD may strike just the right note for me today. :x

... but I'll leave it up to my "Bond-Spin-A-Wheel" to ultimately make the choice.

Got back from the International Spy Museum and organized some pictures to share. Includes their Bond In Motion display, USD 7.00 today.

A beautiful Global James Bond Day here.

Bond In Motion was familiar territory, the standouts for me were the Moonraker Glastron boat and the Red Cougar.

Where a vehicle from the Dalton films is notably absent, and Craig underrepresented, I know the huge display at the Chicago Griffin Museum of Industry and Science is still ongoing.

A staple at the entrance is the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. At times thrilling music and sound effects play, and the plates revolve for effect.

I was inspired to take a selfie as reflected in the chrome of wheel center, worked pretty well. Not shared below.

    Anyway a great time had.

Great shots! Love the vehicles on display. Looks like a top notch set up. Interesting that Craig has fewer things represented than the other fellas!

Yeah I mentioned the Chicago Griffin Museum, it has an EXTENSIVE display of vehicles and items going on through the end of the month.

I intend to post some image highlights on the Pilgrimages discussion when I catch up.

I think I would find seeing the Glastron quite impressive.

Funnily enough I was looking at one of Zao's Jaguars only yesterday. There seem to be dozens of them! :)

I spent global JB day remaking some of the playing cards from the films.

Thanks for the photos @RichardTheBruce - love the pigeon cam! Tanaka could've just released one of these over the island instead of having a jet-lagged Q spend precious seconds assembling Little Nellie. Would've saved a lot on shipping fees.

Thanks so much for posting these photos @RichardTheBruce.

I apologize if someone has posted this before. It is a recent "CBS Sunday Morning" piece on the Bond exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

I actually visited last month, @Dwayne, it was pretty great. Get there by the 27th.

Wanted to repeat this image as the end to this day approaches. Not aware of any big reveals or deals to consider.

Also, Grand L. Bush responded to me on instagram. Best part of the day! Thanks again everyone for putting up with my ramblings about Bond (and other characters). I’m happy to share these opinions with you all, and don’t worry: James Bond will return.

For Global James Bond Day, I stood by the window in my lover's T-shirt while I burned a piece of paper that read "Projets parallèles," before sighing in bliss and turning back to bed with my lover Daniel.

Oh wait, that's how Barbara Broccoli spent Global James Bond Day. ;)

I was getting excited there for a sec… I wanted to see where this was leading…

No #26 announcement from EON. Just...........silence. What a surprise.

The lack of announcements, the lack of any news or any sort of buzz is very interesting. I would use an oxymoron and say the silence speaks volumes about where things stand. I can't see a new film coming until at least 2026 for Christmas or possibly 2027. 5-6 years since NTTD and that film was delayed in release due to Covid so the gap is large.

What will be curious will be when does the next film after the return come out? Do we go 3-4 years in between releases? Interesting and somewhat depressing times to be a fan.
