I agree with everything you said. I would also like to see Blofeld and Hinx back, as she could give them something more for their actors.
I hated you were never really here
I liked it a lot. Nevertheless even if I hadn't, one bad film does not a bad director make.
This place should be a refuge from that, where people can enjoy themselves.
I think a lot of it gets attributed to this downtime since 2015 - much of the infighting and hate and bickering dies down once production of a new installment ramps up and there's more and more to discuss. I think most would agree with you, though: this place should serve as a fun escape to come and relax and talk Bond, not a spot for further stress and headaches.
Yes, I quite agree on the delays exacerbating it. But what you mention here was really more of my point. We spend our days having to stress over all sorts of life and work issues. Why bring that here? At the end of the day, it should be fun and de-stressing!
Here's hoping!
Fair enough. I haven’t seen her other films. But still, I dislike it too much to have an open mind
I do suggest checking out We Need To Talk About Kevin. It's wonderfully shot, the sound design is excellent, it's grim but powerful, and anchored by a superb Tilda Swinton performance.
Nothing in it suggests Bond though, granted.
I concur with this post +1
Many candidates lack. He would usher in a return of a fun, classic Bond.
That's why it gets flagged endlessly, because people can't handle how much fun they're having and how level-headed and cool the discussion is, I'm sure.
lol. Nailed it...
Reasons being too much testosterone & too little news = frustration?
Plus he has made some terrific array of diverse films, including a Jane Eyre adaptation and a film about child soldiers.
The guy is a real talent. His new TV series had its premiere in London tonight. Is there any chance, he could have met with Eon today? could he be the guy?
I like Fukanuga a lot. He'd do a great job on the writing front, too.
Definitely an admirer of Fukunaga's work and yes I'd be more than glad with him as director. The guy can direct!
Not enough Doritos brought to the movie watch party. ;)
That too ;)
